The Burning Heart of Every True Christian

21 The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom.
– Proverbs 10:21

The lips of the wise disperse knowledge: but the heart of the foolish doeth not so.
-Proverbs 15:7

How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!
– Isaiah 52:7

18 And they called them, and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.
19 But Peter and John answered and said unto them, Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye.
20 For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.
– Acts 4:18-20

The burden of every believer whether in his/her own town or outside of it; within his/her country or without; from a newly Born Again Christian to a qualified Elder/Pastor, every saved person has a burning heart and desire to share the life-giving message to all.

None can understand that heart unless s/he himself/herself first knows how completely unworthy they are because of their sinful nature (Genesis 8:21), how hopeless they are before a Just and Holy God (Exodus 34:6-7), the terrible price Jesus paid (2 Corinthians 5:21), and realize how much they are loved and forgiven (1 John 4:19 & Luke 7:47).

A Protestant Christian whose mission is to defend the Gospel, the fundamentals of the Faith, and to reach the lost for their salvation. The Icon that I'm using conveys multiple purposes of a Christian believer. The sword represents our mission to evangelize; not through force of arms, but through the truth of the word of God (Psalm 19:7-9). The shield represents our obligation to defend the truths of the scriptures and the confessions of the faith (1 Peter 3:15). Lastly, the wings represents the grace, love, gentleness, and care we must show and give to each other as brothers and sisters in the Lord, and everyone else around us - to the righteous and to the unrighteous - as God has loved us (Ephesians 2:2-3 & 1 John 4:19).
